The nursery

World of Succulents

The cafe grew out of our succulent nursery — thousands of succulents, cacti, house plants, shrubs and agaves to browse and take home. There's also prepared soil and an antique shop to wander through. The nursery is open every day from 06:00 to 18:00.

Keep them happy

How to care for your plants

Succulents are easy to love and even easier to keep. Here's everything you need to know.

Watering

Succulents need very little water — once a week is plenty. House plants prefer watering three times a week.

Light

Succulents love full sun or semi-sun. Find a bright spot where they get plenty of daylight.

Soil for succulents

Mix 100% compost, 100% building sand and 50% chicken manure for the ideal succulent growing medium.

Soil for house plants

Use 100% compost blended with 50% chicken manure for healthy, well-fed house plants.

Avoid

Overwatering and leaving any plant standing in water — root rot is the most common cause of loss.

Tip: when in doubt, wait a little longer before watering — succulents tolerate dryness far better than constantly wet soil.
